SVS

SVS has been manufacturing subwoofers since 1999, when the company began operations.  They were exclusively a subwoofer manufacturer until 2006, when they introduced their first speakers.  Over that time they have consistently delivered excellent products, backed by great customer service, that win awards and delight customers the world over.

SVS produces five series of subwoofer, each consisting of a sealed and a ported model.  Three of the series also include a ported cylindrical model.  All SVS subwoofer models feature a DSP-controlled amplifier, which is controllable via an app that runs on Android or iOS smartphones and tablets.

Speakers

While SVS is justifiably renowned for its subwoofers, it also produces two acclaimed series of loudspeakers, the Prime series and the Ultra series.

Here is an insight into the design of SVS subwoofers and loudspeakers from the SVS director of product management Smith Freeman.
