High End 2016 Announcements and Introductions
Many manufacturers make major product announcements at High End and the 2016 show is no exception.
Here are a few of the product announcements from High End 2016:
Bel Canto Design: Bel Canto Design announced an addition to its acclaimed flagship Black series, the ACI 600. This is an integrated amplifier with similar features and capabilities to the Black separates, all in a single chassis. The ACI 600 will be priced at $25,000.
B&W: B&W launched their new flagship 800 D3, the top model of their recently released 800 Series Diamond range. The 800 D3 is priced at £22,500 per pair.
ELAC: In recognition of its 90th anniversary, ELAC announced its the Concentro, its new flagship loudspeaker. Also announced was the Miracord 90 Anniversary turntable.
Dynaudio: Dynaudio introduced the new Contour series.
XTZ: XTZ introduced its new flagship loudspeaker, the new Divine Alpha. This 3-way floorstander has complement of a 25mm ceramic dome tweeter, a 180mm ceramic midrange and two 250mm magnesium-aluminum composite woofers. 1.245 m tall, the Divine Alpha weighs in a 71kg per speaker, and produces a frequency response of 24Hz to 30kHz. Expected retail price is €7,000 per pair.
