Pro-Ject Audio introduced may new products at High End 2017.
The new Essential III range of turntables is based on the Essential III, with its diamond-cut aluminium drive pulley, resonance-optimized MDF main platter and chassis, and Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge mounted on an 8.6" aluminium tonearm. The other models of the range add such features as a built in phono stage, electronic speed control, digital output and Bluetooth output.
In celebration of the 175th anniversary of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Pro-Ject audio has released a special limited edition turntable, 175 – The Vienna Philharmonic Recordplayer.
The S series of compact electronic components has been revised to the S2 series The S2 series features a range of improvements, including aluminium/metal sandwich housings, multi-layered gold plated PC boards and extensive use of discrete electronic devices.
Pro-Ject has also revised its loudspeakers lineup, introducing the Speaker Box 5 DS2, 10 DS2 and 15DS2, all of which have 1" silk ring tweeters and come in a range of wood veneer finishes.
