Kii Audio demonstrated its Kii Three loudspeakers with the BXT bass extension module at High End 2018 and at hifideluxe 2018. The Kii Three is a full-range, powered monitor, which uses DSP and its driver configuration to produce a cardiod radiation pattern. This significantly reduces negative interactions between the speakers and the room. The optional BXT provides adds bass output to the Kii Three, effectively making it a floorstander.
The Kii Threes and BXT produced a powerful, effortless, full-range sound. Dynamics, resolution, tonal colour, imaging and soundstageing, they were all there, contributing to a very enjoyable and believable experience. Very good sound, indeed.
