Magico demonstrated its A3 and M6 loudspeakers.
The M6 was driven by Series 7 electronics from Soulution Audio, comprising the 760 DAC, 755 phono preamplifier, 725 preamplifier, and a pair of 701 mono amplifiers. Sources were a Kronos Audio Pro turntable and an Aurender N10 music server. The same electronics were used with the A3, except that the Soulution preamplifier and amplifiers were replaced by the INT-250 integrated amplifier from Pass Labs.
I heard both the A3 and M6 briefly. They both produced very good sound, in terms of tonal accuracy, dynamics, soundstaging and imaging. The A3 was particularly impressive, given its relatively affordable price. The M6 provided greater resolution. However, perhaps due to the musical selection, the sound did not draw me in emotionally.
