Joseph Audio presented their Perspective 2 Graphene loudspeakers. The system consisted of a Technics 1500 reel to reel deck feeding a Doshi Audio V3.0 Tape Stage. Amplification was provided by Alluxity, with the Pre Two preamplifier and a pair of Mono One monoblock power amps. The digital front for the system was provided by the Pre Two's built-in streamer.
The system sounded truly wonderful, agile with a rich, natural tone, excellent resolution and great dynamics. The Perspective 2 Graphenes produced an amazing amount of bass, given their diminutive dimensions. The quality of that bass was also amazing. It was tight with rich texture, and delivered with ease, filling the large room. The system threw a huge soundstage that was high, wide and deep, with great imaging.
Joseph Audio loudspeakers have amazed and delighted whenever I have heard them, and the Perspective 2 Graphenes did exactly that. This was a really enjoyable system, and some of the best sound of the show.
