Roon Labs has released Version 1.7 of Roon, its multi-platform music management and playback software system.

Roon integrates users' personal music libraries with online streaming services, such as Qobuz and Tidal, and with Internet radio.  It provides a wealth of information about artists and recordings to greatly enrich the music listening experience.  It also optimises and integrates music playback across a wide range of devices, including smartphones, computers, tablets and high-end streamers.

Roon 1.7 provides a number of enhancements and bug fixes, and introduces a technology which Roon calls Vālence, a cloud-based system which uses artificial intelligence to provide users with music recommendations.
