Ah … Munich in May! … the sights, the food, the flowers …

It’s been cold and drizzly, but one can still enjoy the delights of Munich.

… and High End 2023 … and the Serious Music Blog is here to report on it for you.

Workmen and exhibitors are busily setting up booths, demo rooms and offices. It’s a vast show, with exhibitors from all over the world, showing millions of dollars of products, which must all be presented at their very best. This is a huge design, logistical, construction and setup exercise, which always yields extremely impressive results.

Some exhibitors are further advanced than others. The folks from Living Voice have already got their new R80 floorstanders, which they’re introducing at the show, set up and playing. They were still working on their demo room and the system setup, but the R80s were already sounding very good indeed.
